LESLEY POPE
Case Manager

I’ve worked in the financial services industry for over 18 years; before I joined MB Associates in 2010, I worked in the insurance industry as a manager in an underwriting department.

My role with MB Associates entails working closely with our clients to progress their mortgage applications. I’m here to answer any concerns or queries they may have and assist them with the challenges of buying a property. I process clients’ mortgage applications and deal with their estate agents and solicitors.

I’m a mother to two boys, so outside of work, I love watching my youngest play rugby and my eldest play drums in his band (I even support him at gigs!). I love walking and being out in the fresh air.

Random fact about me: When I was a child my parents sold up and moved to Devon, where we all ended up living in a caravan in the middle of a farmers field for a year. It was great fun.

The 95% Mortgage Guarantee Scheme

The government’s new 95 Per Cent Mortgage Guarantee Scheme launched on Monday 19 April 2021. The aim of the scheme is to make more 95 per cent mortgages available to those with smaller deposits. First-time buyers can apply but you don’t have to be one to be eligible.
