JAMES WATSON – CeMAP
Mortgage & Protection Adviser

Before becoming a financial consultant, I studied Business and Economics and then worked in the City for two years in the finance industry, before studying and qualifying as a mortgage adviser.

At MB Associates, I work with a diverse range of clients, including first-time buyers, who I can closely relate to having been through the process of buying my first property only recently myself.

Outside of work, I’m a keen rugby fan (Harlequins) so I’m a regular at The Stoop. I also enjoy American football and baseball (Indianapolis Colts and the Detroit Tigers). When I get the chance, I enjoy travelling and have explored Malaysia, Bali, the Philippines and many parts of Africa.

Random fact about me: I am in the Guinness World Records for playing the longest game of rugby – it lasted for 30 hours, 29 minutes and 41 seconds.

“I know how overjoyed and relieved I was when I signed all the paperwork on my first home, and I always bear this in mind when I’m working through the mortgage process with my clients – I understand how stressful it can be, but I also know how great it feels when you get the keys in your hand!”
